Both paths use the same four-part application. You may complete it online in your browser or print a paper packet to complete by hand.

Open the application immediately. Work through About You, Family Connections, Supporting Materials, and Review & Sign.

  • The application starts immediately without prior Clerk approval or an applicant account.
  • Your work remains only in this browser before submission.
  • Secure submission will activate only after every protection is configured.

Paper path

Download or print paper application

Open the complete print-ready packet, fill it out by hand, and retain it until official Clerk mailing instructions are provided.

  • The packet includes the same application sections.
  • A continuation chart is available for deeper direct lines.
  • When intake opens, PDF supporting records may be sent to applications@tshanokaivelokah.org.

Before you begin

Secure submission is not active yet.

You may review and test the complete application flow. Do not enter real personal information or send real records until TVTN announces that secure submission, email verification, receipts, protected staff review, the published retention policy, and application-reference formatting are active.

How TVTN reviews ancestry

One documented direct line is enough to present your claim.

TVTN considers documented direct-line descent and does not calculate blood quantum. You may present one selected direct line through either parent and optionally add one direct line from the other side. You are not required to document every branch of your family.

Records may be incomplete, inconsistent, inaccurately classified, or changed over time. No single historical classification, record label, or document type automatically confirms or defeats an application.
