Citizenship & Enrollment

The Citizenship Roll Book is maintained by the Tribal Clerk/Recorder. Citizenship is recognized in the following categories:

• Lineal Citizens — Direct descendants of the founding bloodline.
• Kindred-Lineage Citizens* — Amer’Indians whose ancestry comes from a bloodline other than the Nation’s founding bloodline, but whose documented lineage is rooted in the same ancestral ethnic people.
• Council-Admitted Citizens — Individuals granted citizenship by formal Council resolution.
• Honorary Citizens — Symbolic status granted by Council.

* Citizenship in this category is subject to Council approval.

Rights of Citizens

• Recognition as citizens of the Nation.
• Eligibility for Tribal Passport/ID.
• Participation in governance and cultural preservation.

Applicants may begin the online application immediately or open the complete paper packet. Submission and mailing remain unavailable until TVTN activates its secure handling requirements and official Clerk instructions.
